What's included in the free plan?
The free plan gives you the full LeedCode desktop app and direct access to any of 30+ AI providers using your own API keys. You control what you call, when you call it, and what it costs. No Team Lead orchestration, but you can still delegate tasks manually.
What does Team Lead actually do?
Team Lead is an AI coordinator that takes your high-level task, routes it through the investigate → plan → edit → review pipeline, assigns the right model at each stage, and returns polished output. It eliminates the manual orchestration overhead and applies proprietary standards at every step.
Do I need to bring my own API keys?
Yes. LeedCode works with your own keys from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, Mistral, Ollama Cloud, and others. You pay your provider directly. LeedCode's $20/month is for the Team Lead software, not for AI compute.
